xl2latex is a command I recently found which is going to save me loads of time in the future, especially if you are not very advanced in the ways of laTeX like me
It add a function to excell so all you have to do is highlight the bit of excell you want and click on the new option in your toolbar and it will do all the work for you and create the latex code
Basically if you are in excel and you have a table you would like to convert to latex you highlight it and then selct the option "Convert to latex" and it will create the code and allow you to state a number of options. I can show you an example..
